Ear candling has been traced back to many ancient civilisations. Ear candles are hollow tubes made with natural ingredients. These consist of organic flax, beeswax, Honey, Sage, St Joh's Wort, Chamomile and Beta Carotene. The candle is lit and then gently placed in the ear, just enough to make a seal. The lit candle creates a mild suction effect, which can help equalise pressure in the head and ear. Ear candling can be beneficial for many conditions, such as compacted ear wax, sinus congestion, headaches or migraines and several more. A pressure point massage is applied to the face, neck and shoulders after both ears have been treated. Ear candling is a gentle, relaxing and calming treatment.
A Holistic facial is a relaxing, light massage over the face, neck, shoulders and upper chest, using natural Cleansing lotions, Toners, Moisturising lotions and essential oils selected for your personal skin type. After receiving a treatment, most people feel relaxed, de-stressed, uplifted and they start to feel the benefits straight away.
However, It is possible you may get a slight headache, feel tired, cold. achey, light headed or more emotional. This indicates a need for water as your body begins to flush out the toxins.
These are important contra actions which may be experienced after a treatment and any of them can be considered a positive result. Please do not worry. If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
